Molly Stephenson is a research based visual artist living and working in Naarm/Melbourne. She interrogates the interplay between the manipulation and natural mutation of the human, botanical, object and marine world through sculpture and installation. Molly received her Bachelors of Fine Arts (Honours) with First Class Honours at Monash University in 2020, and completed her Bachelors of Fine Arts at the Victorian College of the Arts in 2019. She has exhibited with galleries such as SEVENTH Gallery, Buxton Contemporary and BLINDSIDE, with an upcoming show being held at Canteen Studios and Miller's Homestead and Gardens for the City of Knox's exhibition program, 'Immerse 2021.' Molly was long-listed for 'Hatched 2021: National Graduate Showcase,' received the City of Melbourne's 'Quick Response Art Grant' in 2020, The National Gallery of Victoria's 'Women's Association Award' in 2019, an 'Individual Creative Grant' from the City of Boroondara, as well as was the recipient of the John Vickery Scholarship at the Victorian College of the Arts in 2019.
